The Simon Prodger Legacy Fund

The Simon Prodger Legacy Fund

Simon Prodger, universally known as Prodge, died very unexpectedly on Saturday 8 April 2023 aged just 63.  He was a cricket man through and through.  As a player but even more significantly as an administrator and activist on behalf of many cricket-related charities, his contribution to cricket – and through cricket to social and educational good – was nothing less than immense.

Prodge’s friends have set up the Simon Prodger Legacy Fund. The fund is held within the Club Cricket Charity as a restricted fund.  It is raising funds in order to provide Prodge with a fitting legacy and to support those cricketing causes dear to his heart both in the UK and abroad.  The major beneficiaries are the East Africa Character Development Trust in Kenya, the Alsama Project in the Lebanon, alongside the Club Cricket Charity in the UK.

A small number of activities are being planned over the course of 2023 and 2024 to ensure that support for these causes is as generous as possible.
